On the 265th anniversary, the Ignacio Zuloaga Hall in Fuendetodos inaugurated the exhibition “Antoni Clavé. Graphic Work” , which brought together the work of one of the most prominent Spanish artists of the country’s avant-garde of the last century.
The exhibition included 34 engravings by the artist from Barcelona, who died in 2005, with series such as A Goya, Le Roi or the Instruments étranges de him.
This exhibition was possible thanks to the Goya-Fuendetodos Consortium and Hermmann and Brita Prinz, who donated the works for their exhibition in Fuendetodos. The events of the 265th anniversary of the birth concluded in the pavilion of the town, where comedian Marisol Aznar, personifying Goya’s mother, presented a gala that included the performance of the jota group Baluarte Aragonés. Accompanying the Mayor of Fuendetodos, Joaquín Gimeno, and the Deputy for Culture of the DPZ, Cristina Palacín, the General Director of Culture of the Government of Aragon, Ramón Miranda, and the Subdelegate of the Government in Zaragoza, Juan José Rubio, among others.
