This exhibition featured a number of silk screens that show the pure essence of abstract language linked to geometry, its shapes and colours.

AMADEO GABINO: an international renowned sculptor from Valencia, was an outstanding engraving artist during his stay in 1958 at the Fine Arts School of Hamburg. His works showed superposition of colour stripes very close to his sculpture pieces.

GOTTFRIED HONEGGER: born in Switzerland, was one of the most representative artists of the Zurich “Concrete art”. He has always developing monumental scale works using geometric shapes in relief, but altering volume, structure or composition. In the 60´s and 70´s, Honegger used a vertical mathematical system, which later, on computer-based work, allowed him to continue investigating about plastic arts.

VERA MOLNAR: born in Budapest, lives and works in France since 1947. Her geometrical language is based on using basic shapes and colours. However, she usually makes several modifications until getting what she desires. As she says, her intuition needs to be reinforced by a cognitive process to “create valuable works of art in a conscious way”.
